The pain-bearer: The Son who gave His life for the world. The love-maker: The Spirit who brings life to the world. Independent yet interdependent.
The broken crown of thorns to show the action of the Trinity only possible through the sacrifice of Jesus.
In essentials give us unity. In non-essentials give us liberty. In all things give us charity.
