Our second Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Life Skills Course starts with a taster session at midday on Thursday 24th January, at the Keith Thompson Centre (KTC) in Braithwaite, Keighley.
Our last course was excellent fun! We learned how to stay healthy and make our money go further. The eight-week course is designed to give you confidence and decision-making skills to live well on a budget. We start with lunch every Thursday, and some weeks we have social events too.
Further info on the course can be found at: https://capuk.org/i-want-help/our-services/cap-life-skills/introduction.
We’re looking for more volunteers to help share the responsibilities on our team, including delivering the course, befriending and cooking. There is a training session on Thursday 17th January, midday to 2.45pm (including lunch) at the KTC.
If you or a friend want to come to the taster session, or if you want to volunteer on the course, please get in touch via email: email@example.com.
With blessings, Anthony.
